Intro To Reformer

New to the reformer? This class is your essential starting point!


Intro to Reformer is designed specifically for first-time clients, it will walk you through everything you need to know before diving into our regular classes. You’ll learn the mechanics of the reformer, how the equipment operates, and how to safely adjust springs including understanding resistance levels, color coding and transitions.

We also introduce key Pilates principles including spinal articulation, alignment and proper movement patters- ensuring you feel safe, confident and prepared on the machine.


Best Suited For

Clients with no prior reformer experience, or haven’t used a reformer in some time and would like a refresher. Please note: Once this class is completed, you don’t need to take it again unless necessary by client prerogative.


This class is HIGHLY recommended if you have never used a reformer before and is the FIRST step before progressing to a Beginner Class.

Form & Flow (Beginner)

Reformer Form & Flow Beginner is a class that builds your strength, confidence and control while refining the foundations of Pilates. This class is designed for those who are familiar with the reformer and are ready to move beyond the basics for a more dynamic full body workout!



You’ll continue to develop proper alignment, breath and muscle engagement while progressing into longer sequences, increased resistance and more fluid transitions. Expect a steady, intentional pace that challenges your strength, stability and coordination- without sacrificing your form.

This is where the fundamentals are not just learned but strengthened and applied- helping you build the endurance and body awareness to confidently progress into our Intermediate Class.

Best Suited For

Clients who have completed the Intro to Reformer Class or have used a Reformer in the past.

Shape & Sculpt (Intermediate)

Reformer Shape & Sculpt Intermediate takes your skills you’ve learned to the next level with a much more dynamic, strength -driven Pilates experience. This class builds on foundational movement with increased intensity, faster transitions and more complex sequencing adding in props such as dumbbells and ankle weights.



Expect a steady, flowing pace that targets smaller muscle groups with high repetition-low impact exercises creating that deep sculpted burn. You’ll move throughout sequences that challenge your stability, balance, and control while strengthening your core, glutes, arms and legs. You’ll find greater coordination demands, movements become more fluid and continuous requiring both strength and endurance while maintaining proper form.

Best Suited For

Clients who have mastered the fundamentals and are ready for a more challenging, fast paced flow with a strength training base.



Due to the progressive nature of this class, clients should ensure they feel fully confident in their ability to stand and move a-top the reformer carriage with ease

Build & Burn (Advanced)

Build & Burn is a high intensity, athletic Pilates class designed to build strength, elevate your heart rate, and challenge your endurance through powerful, full-body movement. Expect dynamic transitions, strength- based intervals and advanced reformer sequences- including standing work on the reformer- that require control, balance and confidence.

This class moves with purpose and pace, emphasizing precision and performance. Due to its advanced format, participants should have a strong foundation in Pilates and feel comfortable with stability, coordination and body awareness.

This is a Specialty Class offered with us at Align Studios, and we highly recommended taking our Shape & Sculpt class multiple times prior to attending Build & Burn to ensure your safety and stability throughout this class.

Best Suited For

Intermediate to Advanced Clients that have full body awareness, control and stability.

This class follows a progressive, high-level flow and is not designed for beginners.
